Decent jacket for the money

The parka seems to fit true to their sizing chart and would be plenty warm for any Ohio hunting conditions with the right base layering.
It has large pockets that hold plenty of shells and the chest located hand warmer pockets are nice.
The material is quiet but also picks up burrs relatively easily. I can't comment on the water resistant claim since I haven't had the jacket out in any rain or wet conditions.
I wish the parka had snaps or a zipper to add a hood, the high collar is nice but the option for a hood would make the jacket that much better. A drawstring at the bottom of the jacket would also be nice to keep the wind out on those really windy days.
So overall it's a nice jacket for very little money in comparison to some of the other blaze orange hunting jackets on the market right now. (Posted on 11/14/11)
